I almost got myself into serious trouble in the past 2 days. but come to think of it, all seems pretty stupid. blame it on my own goondo-ness. haha.


firstly, i forgot to return the customer's (C) citibank card after making the necessary payments with it. and he left the shop. i chased after him but to no avail. the uncle at the opp shop then suggested in trying to contact C via his hp. he was of cos, refering to well, any no. that i may have written on the receipt issued to C. but i stupidly thot it was the no. in the UOB receipt, and so i dialled the following no. (99961... ) although it stated there, terminal ID. lol.

when the other party picked up, i happily chirped: IS THIS XXXXX?

the reply come about as... : you calling for the police?


-.- i hurriedly apologised and hung up asap. HAHA!


next scenario..

i was calling the members in my club, and stumbled upon a no. : 995XXXXX.
i dialled it quickly without thinking wth am i doing, and so...


Me: Is this XXXXX speaking?

Reply: THIS IS THE FIRE ENGINE.


the worst thing was i actually couldnt hear what he was saying, and so i went HUH HUH? LOL. the guy over the line repeated his sentence, but in a super stern and serious tone.


OMG! scared the hell out of me can! imagine i dialled 2 emergency numbers for no solid reason in 2 days consecutively! thank god they didnt thot i was playing or what. whewwwwwwwwwwww
